consumption variation

The consumption corresponds to the total amount of natural gas consumed monthly in mainland Portugal. It is divided into two main market segments: the Electricity Market, which corresponds to the natural gas consumed by combined cycle plants for electricity production, and the Conventional Market, which corresponds to the natural gas consumed domestically and industrially, excluding electricity production. Monthly variations are calculated in relation to the same month of the previous year. Annual variations refer to the cumulative total up to the respective month, and 12-month variations refer to the twelve months ending in the respective month compared to the previous corresponding period.
